Yes, we're finally finished!! Marc and Martijn did a final week of mixing
before driving to the Electric City studios in Brussels on friday to have the
record mastered. That's where Alan Ward took over. We could name-drop a gazillion
huge bands he has worked with, but we won't. Anyway, he appended his magic, we
nodded happily and at the end of the day we had ourselves a new album! Upcoming
weeks we'll be sending it out to some labels and hopefully we can announce a
releasedate as soon as possible! Get in touch if you're interested in working

Yet another week has passed and all the recordings have been done for now!
Jelle finished his vocals this week and we've started mixing. We'll be back
April 7th for one more week of mixing before we drive to Belgium to master the
record at the Electric City studios in Brussels. In the meantime you can check
us out live next weekend at the Pinguinrock festival playing lots of new songs...

Sjoerd came over today to record some percussion, tambourines, cowbells
and stuff like that. Jelle did some shakers as well... Very interesting
stuff.. So, since the weather finally was ok, a good time to take a shot
of the exterior of the studio. Check it out; the studio's located on the
outskirts of Utrecht in an ancient fortress. Cool stuff... Well, what's next;
Jelle only needs to finish the vocals for two more songs and then it's weekend!
To celebrate we'll be playing a festival this sunday; so if you're in the area
of 'De Weere' come and have a beer with us!

Woops, as you can see, or actually couldn't... we've been way too
busy in the studio to keep a studiodiary day by day. Oh well, the
news however is; things are going great! We're still right on
schedule. All guitarparts are done and Jelle started recording
vocals last week. Yesterday and today Martijn and Marc worked on
arrangements and today Aart recorded some additional parts as well.
Jelle will return to the studio tomorrow to record vocals and if
everything goes as planned he will be finished by the end of the week.

First two weeks are done and we're pretty much right on schedule!
Aart has already finished most of his guitarparts and Marc recorded
some acoustic tracks at the end of this week as well. It's awesome to
see all the ideas we've been working on endlessly last weeks/months/years
take their final shape now. We'll be back in the studio in a week to
finish the guitars.

We're almost at the end of the second week of recording and things
are going great! Bass and drums have all been recorded and Tijs and
Sjoerd did an awesome job laying down a great foundation for the 15
songs. They can now kick back, relax and watch Aart and Marc record
their guitarparts. Today however we'll be doing something different;
We've rented a piano, on which Jelle will be recording a track.

Yes, we're in the studio! Finally... It's been almost four years since
we recorded our last album. So much has changed since then, but; we're
back in familiar surroundings at the Mailmen Studios in Utrecht. This
is where we recorded The Closer You Get as well. first week of the
recording of our new record has finished! So far we've recorded bass
and drums for the first eleven songs. We'll record four more next week.
The record will be entitled 'In The Dark'
